Karla Dyson is a
waitress and a single parent in Louisiana. She receives the news that her ex-husband is asking for full
custody of their son six-year-old Frankie. It will be difficult for Karla because her ex-husband and
his girlfriend earn much more than Karla. There is a local carnival and Karla takes Frankie. She gets a phone call from her attorney
and she steps away from Frankie to talk on the phone. In that short amount of time, Frankie is missing. Karla asks the people around him and
she finds out he left with a woman.
Karla runs to her car and she sees Frankie leaving in a car. She immediately gets in her car and she
starts to follow Frankie.
Unfortunately, Karla dropped her phone before she got in her car and she
can’t call 911 for help.
This is a very TENSE
film!! Almost every minute, you
don’t know what’s going to happen to Frankie and Karla. It seems this film is either liked
or hated but not anything in between?
I did think this was interesting and a different take on a parent’s
worst nightmare!! 3 ½* (I liked
this movie)
