Formed in London in 1970, Queen emerged
almost fully formed. They featured
the classic line-up until the death of Freddie Mercury in 1991. Others in the band were Brian May on
lead guitar, Roger Taylor on drums and John Deacon on bass. This band was unique in many ways
because all the members contributed to the writing of the songs and the
arrangements. It may have been the most democratic rock group ever. In the beginning of their career in the
1970’s, they had their biggest hit, Bohemian Rhapsody. A lot of rare film footage from the
different periods of the band is shown
Also, archive interviews with band members and others pivotal to their
success.
If you wanted to know everything Queen,
this film has it all!! Including, reviews
about Queen from UK music critics and the different style of guitar playing by
Brian May. I thought this was interesting
with a lot of depth. 4* (I really
liked this film.)
