Arnold meets Gloria
Bell at a nightclub in Los Angeles.
Gloria likes to dance and that’s why she often comes to this club. Gloria is middle aged and divorced. She lives alone and she has two
children from her previous marriage.
Anne is a yoga instructor and Peter is a stay at home dad to his infant
daughter while his wife is away.
Arnold is also divorced and he has two daughters and his ex-wife that he
still supports financially. Arnold
owns a paintball arena and he introduces Gloria to this sport. Gloria invites Arnold to her son’s
birthday party. The other people
at the party are Gloria’s two children and her ex-husband Dustin. The family starts to look at old photos
and Arnold suddenly leaves after a call from his daughters? He left so quietly that Gloria didn’t
know he had left? Arnold begins
calling Gloria’s cell phone every five minutes but she doesn't answer??
Arnold seems too
connected to his family? I wonder
if he is really divorced? His
daughters are adults and they don’t work plus his ex wife doesn't work either? It must be much easier to be supported
by Arnold!! He also doesn’t want his
family to know that he is seeing Gloria? He claims they will ridicule him?
I think all these items are red flags!! Gloria has definitely moved on from her ex-husband so there are no problems on her side of the relationship. 3 ½* (I liked this movie)

Arnold reads a very moving poem to Gloria and it is called “For a Young Friend Who
Tried to Take His Own Life” by Chilean poet Claudio Bertoni.
