This movie has low reviews and it deserves them, Kudrow's jilted wife character is extremely harsh, always in the same bad mood and she could be a bar bouncer. Portman deserves sympathy but her character is so shallow you just can't find the emotion. This is a Lifetime movie dressed up with beautiful wealthy people. It's just a same old story, you can only dredge up a little feeling for the fact that Portman lost a baby girl after just a few days and her father made a lot of mistakes.
Portman goes to work for Cohen, he leaves his marriage, they have a baby, they are trying to recover from their loss, deal with the ex-wife and attempt to do the right thing for Cohen's son, played by Tahan. The step-son seems to be the only authentic person surrounded by paper doll cut-out people. 2* (I didn't like this movie)
