Meteors hitting the water near large cities are found to be alien invaders, humans along the beaches are being killed. A Marine platoon is dispatched to save Los Angeles. Rescue civilians is their mission and they have only three hours to complete their task before the Air Force begins bombing the area.This is filmed like Marines in a combat zone at war with other people but these are aliens and their ships. It just seems too unrealistic and doesn't capture your attention like it could or should. Michelle Rodriquez, aren't there any other roles for her? 3* (This movie is OK)
