This
is a Woody Allen movie and of course the subjects are entanglements in relationships, marriages and friendships. I
thought this was interesting and good.
The characters and dramas are well developed with some surprises. I could tell from the picture on the
DVD cover that this film is related to the style of Ingmar Bergman. The specific film is Wild Strawberries,
Imdb 8.3 released in 1957. A
professor confronts the emptiness of the life he has lived. 3 ½* (I liked this movie)

Special Note: This movie was filmed in Alpine, New Jersey and in Manhattan, New York. This is the first out of four collaborations between Allen and Bergman's preferred cinematographer, Sven Mykvist.
