Father
James is trying to maintain his regular weekly routines as a small-town
priest in Ireland. His Sunday
confessionals featured a man who threatened to kill him by next Sunday. He doesn’t know who the man was but he
said a Priest started to molest him from the age of seven. This priest is dead
but it doesn’t show anything to kill a bad priest. It makes a statement to kill a good priest!! Unfortunately, Father James is hit with
a log of spiritual challenges this week while he mentally tries to prepare himself for
his possible death!!
I
couldn’t get into this film? There
are too many characters that didn’t mean anything to me? I wasn’t sure whether this threat was
real and if it would actually be carried out? It seemed too much brain work on my part to try to figure out
who was in the confessional? 2 ½*
