Jimmy Conlon is a
professional hit man in Brooklyn, New York. He is also known as The Gravedigger because he was a mob hit
man. Jimmy's best friend was
his boss Sean Maguire until Jimmy’s son Michael is marked for a hit. Now it’s Jimmy against Sean. The only choice they have is to run all
night to avoid the corrupt police, contract killers and the mob.
Once again, Liam Neeson
has a particular set of skills but he's getting on in years in this role. His inability to change
past mistakes and the intake of a lot of whiskey has cut away at his sharpness. He used to be a heavy player with probably a
dozen murders connected to him.
Now, people laugh about him to his face and behind his back. There is a set of events that connect
Jimmy’s son and Sean’s son together.
I didn’t like the level of violence in this film and that's an aspect
of this type of film that I’d rather pass on. 2* (I didn’t like this movie)
