Broadchurch Season 3 2017

The setting of this Season is three years after Season 2.  Jim and Cath Atwood have a party for Cath’s birthday at Axehampton House in the fictional town of Broadchurch in Dorset, England.  Several days later, Trish Winterman contacts DS Ellie Miller and Di Alec Hardy.  She reports that she was raped after the party on the grounds near the hall.  She was hit on the head from behind with something and knocked unconscious.  Her hands were bound with blue plastic twine and an athletic sock was stuffed in her mouth.  Miller and Hardy focus on the samples of twine and taking DNA samples from the men at the party.  Ellie asks Beth Latimer to work with Trish because she is now working as a social services agent.  Beth Latimer’s son was murdered in Season 1.  As the investigation continues, Ellie and Alec discover there are other attacks with the same circumstances.  They are worried that a serial rapist may be on the loose.  Time will be of the essence to prevent other attacks.
All three seasons of Broadchurch are very good.  This will be the last season since it hasn’t been renewed.  There are many complications in the cases and many suspects.  The main object will be to narrow down the possible suspects.  They will also need to sort out the lies from the truth.  There were instances where I couldn't understand the dialog spoken by David Tennant.  He has a heavy Scottish accent.  4* (I really liked this series)
