Marie-Antoinette Jezequel
also known as Tony begins a stay at a rehabilitation center. She has a broken leg from a very
serious skiing accident. While she
is completing therapy, she takes time to also look back at her turbulent relationship
with Georgio. Why did they love each
other but they couldn’t get along with each other? How did she allow herself to disappear into the
relationship? Why did she need to
turn to prescription medications to endure?
I was surprised to
see that only two people have reviewed this film on Amazon? It’s not easy to tell the timeline of
events in this film. The present
time is at the rehab center. The
past is her relationship. Tony’s
therapist tells her that the skiing accident was caused by her reaction to the trauma
in her past. It was her previous mental
and physical experience resulting in the trauma to her body. Love can be joyous and it also leads to
despair? 3* (This movie is OK)
