Marine sniper
Sergeant Mike Stevens and his spotter Tommy Maidons are out in the desert. Their mission is to take out the leader of a terrorist
cell. They have eyes on the leader but he is standing next to the groom in a wedding
party. Mike doesn't want to shoot during the wedding and he doesn't want to shoot the groom. The mission is aborted and
they hastily make a quick exit. As soon as they leave their position, find themselves in a dangerous location. They are an in area filled with 33 million blast mines scattered in
every direction. Tommy steps on
one of the mines and Mike is standing on one with one foot. The conditions for life could not be
more unfavorable!! Many undetected mines, scalding heat
in the day, limited water and freezing cold in the night.
OKAY!! There is just one Marine out in the
endless dessert for most of this movie?
He gets rougher looking as each day goes by? I kept wondering if Mike was really standing on a mine? Would it be possible for him to leap away from the mine quickly enough to be uninjured? There must be some kind of alternative
to standing on the mine?? I had a lot of questions to occupy my mind so I didn't have to listen to the soundtrack!! 2 /12* (This movie is so-so)
