The Nurse runs a
high-security, members only hospital for high-rolling criminals in Los Angeles
CA. There is rioting in a
near-future LA and the hospital is under siege. A bank robber checks in his injured teammates and their $18
million in jewels. Mob boss Wolf
King and the police are next to arrive. Rooms
for patients are referred to as dark rooms because criminals can go into Hotel
Artemis without the police finding out.
The rooms are named Niagara, Honolulu, Acapulco and Nice. The patients are referred to by their
room names and never their real names. One patient is called
Waikiki because he shares the Honolulu room with his brother.
Jody Foster is acting
in the role of The Nurse and she doesn’t look at all like herself?? She’s older, scruffier and in charge. There are a lot of big names in the cast but
the movie is very dark and not that interesting? Actually it isa disappointment!! 1 ½* (I really didn’t like this movie)
