Pat is a man with bipolar disorder, he
lives in Philadelphia and has spent the previous eight months in a mental
hospital. He moves in with his
parents and wants to get back with his wife but she has a restraining order to
keep him from contacting her. He
meets Tiffany, she is a depressed and in mourning after the death of her husband. She knows Pat’s wife and offers to
deliver a letter from him to her.
In the beginning of this film both Pat and Tiffany are
so over the top and manic that you wonder if you will trip off line yourself
just watching? They do settle down
somewhat further into the film once they unite on a common project. Pat’s dad has obsessive compulsive
disorder and this doesn’t help. 3 ½*
