Fred Dalno
returns to Ireland but he has nowhere to live except his car. He applies for assistance but is turned
down several times, supposedly because he doesn’t have a “real” address. Cathal O’Regan is a dope-smoking 21
year-old who parks his car beside Fred’s car. They start an unlikely friendship
that brightens up Fred’s lonely world.
Cathal encourages Fred and he meets attractive music teacher, Jules, at
a swimming pool. The three outsiders
change their course and change their lives.
Sometimes the person you least expect can help you find your way home. This has an unexpected ending and you
really feel for Cathal. It shows
sometimes your family doesn’t interact and know you like other people do. They only see what they don’t like
about you. 3 ½* (I liked this
movie)
