Susan is the new boss trying to turn around a sinking supermarket
chain. She is very strong willed,
emotional and demanding. She fires
a man who’s been there for 12 years as her first effort. Pete used to be in the music business
but that failed and with a wife and son he needs more money. He’s surprised things start to look up and Susan doubles his
salary. It’s a lot more work and
he really wants to spend time with his family. He gets caught up in corporate life and Susan’s whirlwind.
I didn’t think this was a comedy?
Posey’s character is nearly manic, she begins to wear you down and she’s
not at all funny. The ending feels
like there was nowhere else to go and you are supposed to fill in the blanks
between the last blow-up and the final scenes. 3* (This movie is OK)
