Lawrence
(Lumpy) is the best man at the destination wedding in Phoenix of Scott and Kristen. He gets very drunk, spills a drink on
the bride’s $3000 dress, throws up in the ladies room, dances on tables, needs to
be held back from pulling the cake off the table and other outrageous
behaviors. Unfortunately, he hits
his head in his hotel room while jumping on the bed. He walks out into the
desert at night looking for help and passes away. Scott and Kristen cancel their honeymoon and fly back to
Minneapolis to arrange for his
funeral. As they notify people who
knew Lumpy, Scott finds out he didn’t know as much as he thought about his best
friend.
Scott
and Kristen start to have a lot of arguments over Lumpy’s death and what they
need to do afterward. It’s not the
best way to start a marriage. This
is very boring, everything that happens is not interesting, it’s a slog to get
through and you wonder if there was anything here worth your wasted time? It’s not funny and all the laughs are
mean or from embarrassing events. 2* (I
didn’t like this movie)
