Carol
is doing freelance voiceover work and she lives with her father. Her father thinks it’s time she moved
out on her own but she’s not making enough money for rent. Carol moves in with her sister until
she can get more jobs lined up.
Things start to go her way and more jobs seem to be coming in. She voices for a new movie that will be
filmed in four parts and this is a big deal. The only problem is now her father and his protégée Gustav
think they are better for this job than Carol. Louis runs a sound mixing studio and he offers to help Carol
beat out her two opponents.
This
film is an interesting look into the voiceover line of work. There are some very funny parts but also
some cruising along. Lake Bell is
the director, writer and also actor in this film for a triple juggle. 3* (This movie is OK)
