Brian Gilcrest
returns to Honolulu, Hawaii to work on a job with the US Space Program. Brian is a former Air Force serviceman
who was almost killed in a missile attack in Afghanistan. Now he is working for a wealthy private
defense contractor. The launch of
a new satellite must be finished early because they are worried a hacker could cause an aborted
launch. Brian knows a lot of
people in Honolulu and his pilot
on this trip married his former girlfriend. He
also knows the base commander and the general. One person he doesn’t know is Captain Ng, she’s on the Air
Force fast track to move up in the ranks.
You can throw at lot
of popular and successful actors into a movie and still not come up with much
of a film? There seems to be too
much going on and it feels wooden all the time. Nothing adds up from
the beginning to the end? Plot
twists possibly going in one direction end up in another direction? Even some of the best scenery in the
world doesn’t elevate this movie. The character played by Emma Stone is very irritating!! 2* (I
didn’t like this movie)
