Don Champagne seems
to have it all but in reality everything has been subsidized by
his wife’s parents. He works that
their furniture store, they helped them buy their house and everything has to
be perfect for them when they visit.
Don’s wife Mona is very controlling and she keeps a scrapbook of goals
that they review periodically.
They have a storybook life on the surface but everything starts to
unravel. Mona learns Don has been having an affair with the new saleswoman
Dusty. Don is glad Mona doesn’t
want a divorce but he’s very surprised the steps Mona will take to preserve her
goals and her life!!
I didn’t know this
was a new film until after watching.
It was released video on demand February 3, 2015, in theaters March 13,
2015 and on DVD April 7, 2015.
This short path in time explains everything about it
without much more added!! Tightly strung and not very good is a good summation.
