For the Love of Grace 2008

     Grace Harlen is engaged to Cliff and they are a very busy couple.  Grace is a freelance author writing books and Cliff does a lot of traveling for his job.  They have a five-year plan for marriage, home buying and having children.  Steve Lockwood has been taking a lot of chances as a firefighter recently and his Captain has suspended him.  Steve is mourning his wife Molly who was killed in an accident.  He is passing Grace’s home and he sees there is a fire.  Immediately he climbs up one floor to break a window and rescue Grace.  She is hospitalized for a while and she is very grateful to Steve for saving her life.  She begins to change what she values after almost dying in the fire.

     The characters are interesting but there is a touch of predictability.  Grace and Cliff are on the same page about everything until she almost dies.  An event like this can really cause a rethinking of what is valuable in your life.  3 ½* (I liked this movie)
