This a Hallmark Movie
based on a book by Nancy Naigle. Joy
Holbrook is a market researcher in Washington DC. Joy received an urgent phone call from home and she rushes
back to Crystal Falls NC. She is
going to help her Aunt recover from surgery. Joy also reunited with her former boyfriend Ben. Joy volunteers to take her Aunt’s place
in the town’s legendary baking competition, the Cookie Crawl. Joy doesn’t realize how daunting the
task will be ahead of her. Ben
offers her his help but Joy turns him down. Ben knows how difficult the Cookie Crawl will be but he can't force Joy to accept his offer.
Joy begins to
remember that life in Crystal Falls is so much different than life in DC. She realizes that there truly is no
place like home. Her heart begins
to open to the magic of the Christmas season. The big question is, can she make as many cookies as it
takes for the Cookie Crawl?? She doesn't want to let her Aunt down!! I thought this was good, family and home are more important that corporations!! 3 1/2* (I liked this movie)
