The setting of this
film is 2010 and it is based on the true story of the Iowa City West High School
volleyball team. Star volleyball
player Caroline “Line” Found has died in a driving accident the first week of
her senior year. Her team is so
dispirited and grief stricken from this event that they don’t know how they will play this
season? Their hearts and heads are
just not in the game but they know Line would not want them to forfeit the
season. She would want them to
play has hard as they can and win for her instead. The state championship for the 2nd time in a row
is at stake for them. The
difficulty of winning a second time is more challenging than a first win.
I was very surprised
at how little the movie team resembled the actual team?? I also thought that volleyball players
would be meatier and I was right.
How can you win two championships and be model thin with no muscle?? Your hair and makeup must be perfect as
well. This film does show good
games and you really want the team to win.
