Guy
de Maupassant is a destitute young soldier determined to better his
circumstances. He looks into the
window of a restaurant and sees what the wealthy are eating compared to his
lone crust of bread. He meets an
influential man who turns his situation around but it is the women he meets
that help him retain this lifestyle.
I
wonder if Pattinson will ever be in any movie that is any good? Water for Elephants is as close as he
has come to a good movie. I think
the idea and plot are terrible, I
do like the women actors. 3* (This
movie is OK)
