Artie and Diane are a couple called upon
to babysit for their three grandchildren while their parents are away for
work. Artie is old school in his
beliefs about raising children.
Diane is a people pleasing person.
Alice and Phil, parents of the grandchildren, are type-A helicopter in
their style of raising their children.
This movie seems dated, stale and only
slightly funny. Every stereotype
in the book is used about parents, children and grandparents. One element I did not like is that the parents or grandparents do not correct words or behavior. 2 ½* (This movie is so-so)
105 min, Comedy directed by Andy Fickman with Billy
Crystal, Bette Midler, Marisa Tomei, Tom Everett Scott, Bailee Madison, Joshua
Rush.
Note:
Blockbuster 3 ½*, imdb 5.8 out of 10, 18% critic 64% audience on Rotten
Tomatoes.
