Mickey Prohaska lives
and works in rural Wisconsin, he’s an insurance salesman in a slump. He’s struggling to make ends meet and
his divorce from his wife has shaken his confidence. He goes to a convention but has his money and credit cards
stolen. On the bright side, he hires a new salesman, Bob Egan. He seems to be a
hard worker and he’s bringing in new clients. Mickey meets elderly farmer Gorvy Hauer through Bob and they
are able to set him up with insurance.
Everything starts to really go downhill when Mickey becomes involved
with Gorvy.
This is funny,
Mickey starts to forget what is right and wrong in his greed to get money. So many things happen but I can’t give
anything away, I have to let you experience the momentum and the downward slide. 3 ½* (I liked this movie)
