Terri
and Paul Fletcher have a very strict father. Terri would like to attend a musical summer camp in Los
Angeles but her father is opposed.
Her brother Paul is planning on going away to college so he can get away from home
and from under his father. Terri
doesn’t know that Paul creates a video of her singing and sends it along with
an application for her to join the camp.
Terri gives Paul a gift of rock concert tickets but Paul is
grounded. She convinces him to
sneak out with her because the concert will be that evening. They really have a good time but they
are involved in a car accident on the way home.
This
is probably geared for tweens and teens but it is still interesting with a lot
of good music and singing. I’m
surprised about the very low reviews, this isn’t rocket science we are
watching? It also includes tips on
how not to handle teens!! There needs
to be boundaries but if they become too severe, it drives them away
instead. 3* (This movie is OK)
