This film challenges our concepts of reality and redemption with the discovery of a mirror of our own planet. An astrophysics student has just been released from prison after causing a fatal car accident. Rhoda was distracted by the sight of a new planet in the night sky which had just moved from the other side of the sun. She enters and wins an essay contest and the prize is a trip to Earth 2, she wants to see if an alternate version of herself exists. If there is an alternate version, has the other Rhoda made different choices and followed a different life path?
An interesting concept and visual with an earth just like this one in the sky. Does it offer second chances after a horrible unforgivable mistake? 3 1/2* (I liked this movie)
