Epic mythological fantasy, King Hyperion is a brutal tyrant on a bloody mission to find the Bow of Epirus which will enable him to overthrow the Gods of Olympus. The Heraklion army goes on a brutal rampage across Greece, razing every town in their path. A young stonemason emerges from the rubble of his village determined to make the King pay for killing his mother and his other crimes. The King captures the Sybelline Oracle, the Oracle sees a vision when meeting the stonemason and helps him assemble a small army capable of defeating the King.The is from the makers of 300 but it is not as good, the plot is weak, battles can't be everything. Mickey Rourke was perfect in the Wrestler but he is not one of my favorite actors. 3* (This movie is OK)
