Arlis Sweeney can never shake the memory of his father's wasted life, just one of his crimes was murdering a family and Arlis helped him do it. Arlis supplies vending machines in small Texas towns and lives an uneventful life with no surprises. He strikes up an unexpected friendship with Katy who she has just left her husband.The opening scenes of this film are tough and you don't forget it throughout the movie, you almost want to stop and not see anymore. You know the only survivor will appear at some time in the story but you aren't sure who it will be. 3 1/2* (I liked this movie)
