This
is an adaptation of Steve Harvey’s relationship advice book, Act Like a Lady,
Think Like a Man. Six male friends
regularly get together to play basketball and commiserate about issues with
women. One man is married, one is
getting a divorce and the other four are single. The four men meet and start dating women who have read and
are putting into practice the advice in this relationship book.
There
is a lot of good advice on relationships woven through the plot of this
film. The women aren’t sure this
will work, the men all fit certain types of profiles. I thought this was both interesting and funny too. Reminds me of He's Just Not That Into You. 3 ½* (I liked this movie)
122
