This film is based on a comic book series with the same name. Alice and John are a married couple struggling to pay
their bills. Alice is trying to
get a job but she doesn’t have the qualifications for a most of the jobs
advertised. John’s job is calling
people and trying to convince them to keep their television service
contracts. John is fired which is
almost the last straw. Then they
get into a car accident with someone running into their very tired car. Right after the accident, Alice sees a
small shop beside the road. She
sees an antique teapot inside and she must have it. She runs out of the shop with it and soon after she finds
out the teapot will give you money when you feel pain.
So many times I wanted to stop watching and do anything else!! You want to find out what happens in
the end but getting there is a hard slog.
The plot is very thin and nearly unbelievable at every turn. A lot of cutesy thrown in too. 3* (This movie is OK)
