A true story of the Tuskegee Airmen in World War II. The U.S. military recruits and
trains the Tuskegee fighter pilots to help defeat the German airmen
and protect the American bombers. They have put in this effort but they don't believe these men can
do the job, they don't want to give them priority jobs and later want
to disband the team. Finally, it is realized what they can really do and
they give them better assignments which do cost more of their lives.
I
had a very hard time maintaining interest in this, possibly because it
is just not my subject. It did not help to watch with an experienced
pilot who pointed out there were many errors. The air fights have very
loud volume and the dialogue sequences are much lower so you need to
keep adjusting the volume. 3* (This movie is OK)
