Phryne Fisher
continues in her career as a murder investigator and every episode begins with
the scene of a murder. Phryne is
still stealing crime scene evidence, she is a step ahead of the local police, she
carries a .38 just in case and there is plenty of action. There is also a lot of jazz music on
the soundtrack.
I noticed some of the
titles remind me of the Hercule Poirot mysteries by Agatha Christie and his
vocabulary. I liked the Australian
accents, the cars, fashions and hairstyles of this period. I was sorry to be finished watching
these episodes. 3 ½* (I liked this
series)
