Ian is
a husband with four children and he’s
in prison for drug smuggling.
Karen takes the children to see Ian over a five-year period. Life goes on at home with school for
the children and Karen has a job at a local pub. Near the end of his prison time, Ian is given a day to spend
with the family and he’s caught going back in with a small amount of hash. He tells Karen he was bullied into
doing this for some rough men.
Karen doesn’t know how much more she can take.
This
seems like a real family and the children are from one family. Ian and Karen are actors. Filmed in Norfolk, England but it seems
more like Ireland. There are four prison
visits with each a year apart. There
isn’t a lot of excitement here but I didn’t find it to be tedious. 3* (This movie is OK)
