Jeff is a slacker who still lives
with his mother in the basement of her house. He spends the majority
of his time smoking pot and explaining how he's waiting to understand
his own fate. He uses the film Signs as the model for how he sees the
world. His brother Pat is a salesman in a mid-life crisis, he just
purchased a Porche over the objections of his wife Linda. Jeff answers
the phone and a voice demands to speak to Kevin, he believes this is
the sign he's been waiting for. During the space of one day, Jeff and
Pat confront their many issues with each other. Their working and
long-suffering mother wonders if she can just get the slat glued on her
kitchen cabinet door?
This is just not funny
enough to be called a comedy, it seems to be forcing it's way along, just going through the motions. 3* (This movie is OK)
