To the Ends of the Earth 2005

     Adapted from three sequential novels by Nobel Laureate William Golding, this film takes place on the high seas of the late 19th century.  A young British aristocrat, Edmund Talbot, is on a voyage to Australia to take a post in the colonial government. 
     This is a tough voyage, just about everything happens that could happen except alien invasion or vampires?  I think it needs sharper editing to pare down the length so some of the scenes are not as long.  3* (This movie is OK)
