Based
on the book, A Woman in Jerusalem by A.B. Yehoshua. An employee of
Israel's largest industrial bakery is killed in a suicide bombing. The
local newspaper is set to publish an article accusing the bakery of
indifference concerning her death. The HR Manager writes a rebuttal to the paper but
sets out to make sure that the woman is taken care of in
Israel and her body is personally returned to her home town in
Romania. This is not an easy task, she was divorced, her ex-husband can't sign for her body, her son who can sign is missing
and there are many other problems.
I could not keep interested in
this film, with so little happening it is too much of an effort to read the subtitles. None of the
characters have names except the woman. 2 1/2* (This movie is so-so)
