The
police are called to a false alarm at Wrigley Field in Los Angeles. When they arrive, they find nothing wrong. What they don’t know is Dave Purvis is timing them to see their response time. Dave is planning to get together a crew
to rob an armored car at the last pickup spot which is Wrigley Field. He
is seeing Yvonne who is a dancer and she likes men with money. Dave considers everything and plans meticulously
but it begins to unravel quickly once they start the job.
I
really liked the cars used in this film.
One of the police cars is a Hudson manufactured from 1909 to
1954. The model used must be a
1949 or 1950. I had to laugh when
the armored car pulled up to the entrance of Wrigley Field, it seemed so clumsy
and nothing at all like one in use today.
I also liked the suits the men wear with large lapels and the ties were
very short. This film is
interesting and believable. 3 ½*
