Jon
wants to play keyboard and he wants to write songs. He has a regular day job and his talent is about so-so in this
second career. He meets a
mysterious man wearing a large paper mache head and he’s picked to be the
keyboard player. The previous keyboard player tried to drown himself? The band sets up
shop at Soronpfrbs to record new material. Jon expected to be back at work by Monday but it doesn’t look like
this is happening?
There
are a lot of deeply troubled people in this film, they attack each other verbally
and physically plus the lead singer is hiding behind his paper mache head? This film is supposed to be a comedy but I
didn’t find it funny? The music is
a big part of this film but I didn’t care for this genre of music? What was I left with to like, not much? 2 ½* (This movie is so-so)
