Wallace
was attending medical school but he decided to drop out after his relationship ended badly. He’s been in a lot of relationships but
none of them have worked out. It
seems like everyone around him is finding a perfect partner including his roommate
Allan. Wallace decides to put his
search for love on hold. He meets
Chantry and she lives with her longtime boyfriend Ben. Wallace and Chantry decide to keep
their relationship on the friendship track. Since they really become very good friends, they begin wonder if
there could also be love?
This
film reminds me of an extended episode of Girls and that is not just because
Adam Driver is one of the actors. Since Chantry’s job is in animation, sometimes a
sad-faced animated girl with butterfly wings flits across the screen. There is a lot of ‘cute’ in this film
and denial of real feelings. 2 ½*
