Molly McKay has been autistic since early
childhood. She has been in an
institution from the time her parents passed away until she is 28 years old. The place where she has been living is
closing and she is released into the custody of her brother. She has only seen Buck once a year on
Christmas when he would come by to give her a gift. Buck has a lot of problems of his own and taking care of
Molly is difficult. He loves her
but in many ways she’s a stranger.
Molly has experimental surgery to implant cells in the portions of her
brain that show less development.
Molly starts to come out of her autism and
develop fully as a person. Buck
finally becomes the brother he wanted to be. Very close to being a Hallmark movie but released by
MGM. The character
development is good so you become involved with the people and want this to
work for them. 3 ½* (I liked this
movie)
