Earth is invaded by a
species of giant monsters from the deep called the Kaijus. Humans build robots called Jaegers to
fight the monsters. At first, one
operator was used inside the Jaeger but it was too difficult. Two operators were then used but they
needed to lock minds in a neural bridge before taking on a Kaijus. There are a lot of failures with the
Jaeger and they are going to be decommissioned after years of fighting. One last onslaught is planned to
finally finish the Kaijus.
This is so ridiculous
it’s hard to fathom how it could be so laughable. The plots of many science fiction monster films are blended
together to made an unsuccessful hodgepodge. Very heavy reliance on special effects, a lot like
Transformers, lengthy, dark and wet so you can’t see how silly this is,
deafening, no plot and are all the other critics 10 - 12 years old? I was surprised to see the reviews? 2 1/2* (This movie is so-so)
