Linda
Sinclair is a 40-year-old high-school English teacher in Kingston PA. She is single and she has a comfortable set
routine for her life and she likes to read a good book in her apartment. Jason Sherwood was her most promising
pupil, she runs into him at an ATM machine and learns he’s written a play but
his father wants him to go to law school.
She reads the play and is determined to have it performed under the guidance of the
drama teacher at the school. There
are a lot of upsets, problems and surprises during the rehearsals. It's not her normal comfortable life.
I
didn’t know if I would be able to finish this film but it does get better
although still too much like a sitcom episode. At least the eyebrows of Lily Collins don’t seem to have
their usual starring role? 3*
