Alejandro is the
adopted son of Don and Ellie. They
are divorced and Don is with Bebe, Ellie’s best friend. They find out they need to pretend to still be
married when Alejandro’s ultra conservative mother comes for his wedding to
Missy. Bebe is very upset about this
latest development and she moves out.
Lyla is Ellie and Don’s daughter, she hasn’t gotten over her parents divorce
because of her dad’s cheating.
Supposedly an
uproarious romantic comedy but this is so dumb and stupid I could not take more
than about 20 minutes. Every
sexual innuendo, old stale joke and cliché is dragged out to prop this up. I don’t know how they got the cast to
sign contracts for this ridiculous effort.
