Christine
is beautiful but very using and manipulative as the boss of an advertising
agency. She doesn’t think twice
about taking the credit for a winning ad campaign originated by her
assistant. Christine is planning
to move back to the New York office but an upstage by Isabelle as a pay-back
changes this plan and Isabelle is going to New York instead. Christine puts Isabelle on the spot and shows some
embarrassing film clips at an office party.
I
didn’t care for this film, it tries to be so slick and polished but I feel it
wasted the talents of McAdams and Rapace.
The plot is weak and it’s easy to forget everything that happened. It is supposed to generate surprise
with twists but I was not interested enough to be surprised. 2 ½* (This movie is so-so)
