Robbie
has narrowly escaped prison and is sentenced to community service. He’s determined to change his ways
after his girlfriend Leonie gives birth to their son Luke. Leonie’s family would like to see
Robbie beat up and run out of town. Robbie meets Rhino, Albert and Mo while doing his community
service work. None of them are able to
find jobs because of their criminal records. Harry is their supervisor and he introduces them to upper crust
whiskey and takes them to tour a distillery.
You
almost need subtitles to understand their Scottish accents and you wonder if
there is really any way Robbie will be able to change? This film is like a rough and gritty fairy
tale. I think there is a lot more
drama than comedy. 3* (This movie
is OK)
