Reach Me 2014

Reach Me

A motivational book inspires a journalist, his editor, a former prison inmate, a hip-hop mogul, an actor and an undercover cop.  A mysterious man wrote the book and word begins to spread that this book can help people create more positive lives.  The book recommends re-evaluating choices, decisions and confronting your fears.
A lot of ensemble films like this one weaken their efforts with too many stories.  I could not get interested in any of the characters?  They are all missing something (maybe a brain)?  The material is not good and the acting is not good either?  I guess this film did not ‘reach me?’   1 ½* (I really didn’t like this movie)

95 min, Drama directed by John Herzfeld with Lauren Cohan, Kyra Sedgwick, Thomas Jane, Kevin Connolly, Tom Sizemore, Nelly, Omari Hardwick, David O’Hara, Kelsey Grammer, Terry Crews, Cary Elwes.

Note:  Imdb 4.8 out of 10, 0% critic 59% audience on Rotten Tomatoes, Roger Ebert 1*.
