Digging for Fire 2015

Lee and her husband Tim are vacationing with their 3 year-old son in the home of someone else.  Tim makes a discovery on a hill outside the house.  He finds a gun and a human bone buried in the hillside.  He thinks this is very exciting and he starts to imagine there are twenty bodies buried in the hillside.  Lee is not as enthusiastic.  She is happy with the house where they are staying but she feels like a mother with no other life.  She decides to visit her parents to get some relief from childcare and visit with a couple she hasn’t seen for a while.  She’s hoping to go out on the town with the wife.  Lately Lee and Tim have been arguing a lot about private school or public school.  Tim is voting for public school because he is a public school teacher.
I didn’t think there was very much going on in this film?  I felt like it was somewhat of a waste of 85 minutes.  Could I have those minutes of my life back?  The hill digging seems to be interesting but it starts to sag.  Lee and Tim never discuss their relationship issues with each other.  Lee asks her mother when she will be free from full time motherhood.  She must realize that she will get some of her life back when their son goes to school?  2 ½* (This movie is so-so)
