The Curse of Frankenstein 1957

Dr. Victor Frankenstein is in prison and he is telling a priest why he is wrongly in prison.  When he was a young man, he inherited wealth from his family after the death of his mother.  Paul Krempe became his tutor and Victor became interested in medical science.  Victor believes he can construct a man using body parts from different people.  Paul tries to reason with Victor against this plan but he won’t listen.  Paul is also concerned about Elizabeth, she is Victor’s cousin and fiancé and she is now living in the household.
The creature Victor constructs has a lot of problems!!  Paul damaged the brain trying to prevent Victor from using it.  He also shot the creature in the eye.  Victor tries brain surgery and brings him back from the dead again.  This creature isn’t as scary looking or as large as later creations.  Christopher Lee plays the creature and he later plays Dracula.  I think he’s more frightening as Dracula and not as much as this creature.  Just a bad face and hair!!  3* (This movie is OK)
