Andy and Lance spend
a lot of their days working with their metal detectors on ploughed tracks and
open fields. They are hoping for
the day with they can find gold or some other kind of treasure. Andy is a dad now since Becky had
three-month -old Samuel. Andy
takes Sam along on a lot of the detecting trips. Becky wants to quit her teaching job and go with Andy and
Sam to Africa for volunteer work. Lance's
adult daughter Kate has contacted him and Andy thinks he’s on an Internet
date? Peter comes to the Danebury
Metal Detecting Club to ask for their help in digging up his grandfather’s plane
that is supposed to have crashed nearby.
I have also seen
Season 1 and I like this series. Andy
is a sad sack and he likes tepid decaf coffee with added cold milk and a
marshmallow. How is he going to
protect his family is his worry if they go to Africa? Lance is instantly smothering his daughter and she has to
back away to get some space. All
the characters have a little quirk that makes them interesting and
different. The Detectorists Club is very
serious about metal detecting!! 3
